Director of Knowledge Translation

Asha is a freelance writer, journalist, graphic designer, photographer and editor based outside Toronto. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (previously known as Ryerson) and a college diploma in journalism from Sheridan College. Her work surrounds ideas of sustainability, climate change, feminism, food systems, politics, race, queerness and the ways identity can intersect and add rich complexity to our lives. She has been vegan since 2016 but has cared about the environment for her whole life. You can read her work online at
