Outreach Team Manager
Time commitment: Minimum 3-5 hours/week volunteer commitment, in addition to active learning club (details below)

Responsibilities:
Attending and participating in team meetings
Engaging in direct messages/communications from our audience
Utilize existing workflows for projects/ events/ grants to manage outreach initiatives
Manage outreach projects, partnerships and collaborations across all of SUTE’s teams
Lead outreach team meetings and be the key liaison between outreach members and the Director of Outreach
Oversee the execution of monthly newsletter creation
Contribute creative ideas to outreach at SUTE and enhance networking opportunities
Co-design outreach strategy with the Director of Outreach to enhance outreach capacity
Overseeing the execution of, and participating in, the Active Learning Club (ALC), which is a monthly meeting (mandatory for all members of Shake Up The Establishment) where we continue one's on-going education on climate and social justice issues in our society, to consistently decolonize our activism and strive to practice better allyship. The structure of the ALC is ~2 hours of individual reading/viewing material per month, and a monthly meeting to discuss the material
Qualifications:
Intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for community outreach and project management
Previous experience (at least 1 year) as a community organizer
Attention to detail, leadership and organization skills.
Works well independently and is comfortable with working with a team in an online setting (Slack, Google docs).
Previous experience with team leadership or exhibits leadership skills
