Marketing and Communications Assistant - Communications Team
Time commitment: Minimum 5 hours/week volunteer commitment

Responsibilities:
Coordinating the creation and posting of weekly content on SUTE's social media accounts and website (including the creation of captions, interactions with comments/direct messages and other audience interactions, Instagram stories, Tweets and more)
Updating our website’s pages when needed (user-friendly/training available)
Optimizing content creation direction/initiatives to align with our brand and values by contributing new ideas to designers.
Analyzing our social media metrics and website analytics for areas of improvement and/or opportunity.
Attending the Active Learning Club (ALC), which is a bi-weekly meeting (mandatory for all members of Shake Up The Establishment) where we continue one's on-going education on climate and social justice issues in our society, to consistently decolonize our activism and strive to practice better allyship. The structure of the ALC is 1 hour of individual reading/viewing material per week, followed by a biweekly meeting to discuss the past two weeks of material.
Qualifications:
Attention to detail, leadership and organization skills.
Works well independently and is comfortable with working with a team in an online setting (Slack, Google docs).
Previous experience with social media management.
Knowledge of website design and/or Adobe suite design software is an asset, but not necessary.
Bilingual ability with French and English is considered an asset.
