Chief Administrative Officer - Executive Committee
Time commitment: Minimum 3-5 hours/week volunteer commitment, in addition to active learning club (details below).

Managing and keeping an excellent record of all of SUTE’s expenses and funding (grants, donations, etc.)
Aiding to coordinate funding for projects, partnerships and collaborations across all of SUTE’s teams.
Organizing and participating in meetings with potential partners, collaborators and funding bodies.
Providing monthly summary of finances (expenses, donations, revenue, grants) to Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Aiding with funding applications, project proposals and creating workflows, as needed.
Attending the Active Learning Club (ALC), which is a bi-weekly meeting (mandatory for all members of Shake Up The Establishment) where we continue one's on-going education on climate and social justice issues in our society, to consistently decolonize our activism and strive to practice better allyship. The structure of the ALC is 1 hour of individual reading/viewing material per week, followed by a biweekly meeting to discuss the past two weeks of material.
Professionalism, ability to maintain confidentiality, and organization are strongly required skills.
Excellent communication skills and time management.
Previous experience as a community organizer, working with registered non-profits and/or in managing finances is highly valued.
Any academic background welcome, but must be technologically proficient (or a quick learner).
Individuals with accounting, business or otherwise financial backgrounds and/or experience are encouraged to indicate this alongside their years of experience on their application.
